Will my carpets get dirtier faster after I have them cleaned?
Absolutely not! The system we use is hot water steam-extraction with natural enzyme cleaners. This system does not leave any foam residue behind. Any kind of foam cleaning or spotting leaves a residue behind which attracts dust and dirt.

Will getting my carpets cleaned shorten the life of the carpets?

How many times a year should I clean my carpets? Furniture?
Most carpet warranties request a cleaning every 18 months. If the traffic on your carpet is fairly heavy, we suggest every 6-12 months. For your furniture, you should vacuum at least twice a month and have it cleaned every 12-18 months. To properly care for carpets and furniture constant vacuuming is a must.

Is it safe to walk on carpets after they have been cleaned?
Most definitely. The carpets will not be saturated with water, just damp to the touch. The cleaning products that are used are all environmentally safe and are not harmful to anyone. Make sure your shoes are clean and, when stepping off the carpet onto any tile or hardwood, be careful since it may be slippery from the moisture on your soles.

What if the stain reappears?
If the stain was liquid, it is possible for it to reappear after cleaning. But, maintaining it with spot cleaning is a breeze. Take a white towel soaked with cold water, ring it out, and buff the stain that reappears. Eventually all the stain will be lifted out. A reappearing stain is called Wickering. This happens when the spill goes to the backing of the carpet and/or padding. If you have purchased the "Unbelievable Stain Remover," use it instead of cold water. Pour the spotter on the towel and then buff the stain.

What is the black line around the room?
The black line is called "air filtration." It is caused by your heating and air conditioning system. Your carpet acts like a huge filter in your home; therefore, impurities and dirt become trapped within the carpet. Changing the filter in your air conditioning system frequently will reduce the amount of "blackness" collected. You can use your vacuums attachments to clean that area effectively. Cleaning the carpet will lessen the black line but will not take care of it entirely.

The tag on my furniture says "dry clean only." What can I do?
Manufacturers recommend "dry clean only" because, if wet extraction is not done properly, it can damage the furniture. However, we are certified in the wet extraction and dry-cleaning method of cleaning upholstery.
